Claire Wright - a brilliant campaign!

Congratulations to Claire Wright http://www.claire-wright.org/ on putting up a brilliant fight against Hugo Swire. No one can fault the wonderful campaign that you ran and the boundless energy that you undertook it with.

It is hugely disappointing that you didn’t manage to unseat Hugo Swire and your task was always an incredibly huge one. You have every right to be proud of your achievement.

Hopefully your determined campaign has given added confidence to the Independents and Independent East Devon Alliance candidates who stood in the District Council election. We await the Council’s full election results with anticipation.
