Hugo Swire MP. Must have an extensive joke book |
Last night’s BBC Spotlight programme carried the story highlighting the fact that Hugo Swire had declined the BBC’s request for an interview but he apparently pointed out that he had raised substantial amounts for charity over the years through utilising his auctioneering skills. Err...not really the point Hugo! Neither is the excuse that your comments were off the cuff. Insulting, demeaning and inappropriate are more like it.

Hugo needs to
apologise and to accept that his “jokes” were made in bad taste. The electors
need to show him on 7 May that he is out of touch with both his Constituents
and society.
It’s time for change! It’s time for challenge!
