Billy Bunter playing politics in East Devon? Surely not!

Zorro has had his thoughts turned to his schooldays reading. A favourite at the time were the fantastical stories about a rather over weight fellow who couldn’t help but get himself into trouble all the time! Some of you may recall him – Billy Bunter.

Billy Bunter. Alive & well in East Devon, apparently!

Zorro’s thoughts returned to Billy Bunter having read of the ridiculous posturing of a local East Devon politician (who may end up being culled – in the political sense of course!) in the latest edition of Pulmans View.

Great Billy Bunter story. Gets the boot. What can that mean?

This local politician has been accused of “..not engaging with (political) opponent’s ideas, but fumbling for snippets about  them online, like Billy Bunter at a keyhole”.

Another exciting Billy Bunter story. He just can't help himself!

Zorro has never knowingly met a local East Devon politician who might be described as having acting like Billy Bunter, and so it is left to your imagination, or knowledge, to work out who this fellow might be.
